Playing pianissimo or huge forte’s: this baby handles it remarkably well.

Warm brassy bass sound. Nice, firm mid-tones and smooth but clear in high tones. The overall sound is full and well balanced. Due to the Indian rosewood, the guitar has a fair amount of sustain and an extremely powerful projection. It really fills the room with a powerful, warm sound. The construction of this guitar is similar to the Alhambra 8P and Alhambra 10P, but this model is a bit more dynamical, especially in the upper mid range.
The solid AAA grade Western Red cedar top is meticulously bookmatched and extremely fine grained. Solid East Indian rosewood back and sides are straight grained and quarter sawn for maximum stability and sound reflection. The ebony reinforced Spanish cedar neck features an ebony fingerboard, “lyre” style precision tuners and well finished frets.

The body is wider (107mm) typical of the Madrid school, like Ramirez, to provide a bigger sound when played acoustic.

The neck is 52mm like on a regular classical concert guitar model.
The fingerboard is made of Ebony, and an ebony strip reinforce the neck to keep it straight, light, compact.
Harmonic bar reinforcements arched like a bridge allow the top to vibrate freely and grant this guitar a huge voice.

It has a wonderful, singing tone with just a tiny hint of crispiness. Slightly brighter tone overall than a normal classical. A distinctive and pleasant tone that you will never get tired of. And, as the spruce top matures, it sounds better all the time. The action is very low and easy to play. Very suitable for moving quickly up and down the neck. The finish and craftsmanship are top-notch. Alhambra guitars are known worldwide for their quality, and even though this is a low price guitar, it's very well made. It has that distinctive flamenco tone, which is somewhat brighter than a comparable classical guitar. It responds very well to nuances in string attack, and resonates beautifully. The string to string balance is nice, but has that common strong G to an extent. Overall, it's a very pleasing tone. The fit and finish are very impressive. The woodwork is beautiful and the finish is carefully applied. If I didn't know that this as a relatively inexpensive guitar, I'd guess that it was a much more costly instrument.

The Alhambra 8-P is an all-solid concert-level quality classical guitar with a wonderful richness of tone at a very reasonable price.  It features a bridge-shaped cross bracing pattern to give the top maximum volume and projection.

The new model is called “Línea Professional” and its construction has been made thinking of all those professionals and students who play the guitar many hours diary.

The most important features are: a new neck’s design which provides better playability and comfort and we have also added the same bracing pattern of the Luthier models. We must say that we have chosen the best woods in order to make this new model and we think it will be a good option for both professional and students.

The Línea Profesional model can be made of solid Spruce or Cedar top and the back and side are made of solid Indian Rosewood.These guitars have a very similar sound and construction to the Luthier India and Rio and are assembled and finished by the master luthiers, Javier Mengual and José Margarít. The neck profile is slightly thinner, so they have a bit of an easier feel to them than do the other luthier models.
